Venice FC wins Miami-Dade Early Season League

MIAMI, FL — November 15, 2018 – Venice FC U14 won the Miami-Dade Early Season in it’s very first season. They competed in Division 2/3 in the FYSA sanctioned league featuring teams from Miami-Dade County. The final record was 5 wins, 0 losses and 1 tie.

Venice FC U16 also finished with a very strong record coming in 2nd place with a final record of 4 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie. The U16 team practically played up one year as over 90% of players were U15 and only two players were U16 which is a significant accomplishment for this team.

Venice FC U10 also went undefeated with a record of 6 wins and 0 losses in their very first season. They made it the Semi Finals where they lost to Miami Lakes United.

All 3 teams now move on to the play the Miami-Dade Regular Season which is sanctioned by FYSA. The season begins in mid November and ends in February.

All teams will also compete in several tournaments in 2019 including the Dimitri Cup, Weston Cup, and United Cup.
